A fairly common mistake with other BPM detectors is that they can halve or double the actual BPM rate because MP3 files are decoded with lower quality to improve performance. It uses broadband audio decoders from Audio Converter Plus to ensure a balance between performance and precision.

Fully Automatic
Since the program is designed to quickly estimate the tempo of several songs placed in one folder, It reduced the number of settings to a minimum. The program interface is made as close as possible to Windows Explorer. Fast BPM Detection
This company has extensive experience in the development of DSP algorithms. Many of them are designed to extract features from a large number of audio files. It uses a single pass algorithm to calculate the tempo. It is less accurate than that used in tuneXplorer but allows you to quickly estimate BPM values. If the program cannot calculate the correct BPM value or an audio file decoding error occurs, then it returns 0. In case of successful calculation, the program returns the BPM value with the specified accuracy.

ID3 Tags Support
It has the ability to save BPM values in MP3 metadata in accordance with the ID3v2.3 standard. It chose this version of the tags because it is supported by most programs related to audio processing. By default, saving BPM in tags is disabled, you can enable it in the program settings. Unfortunately, Info tags in WAV files do not allow saving BPM. If you use the ID3 format for them, then other programs will not be able to read the data.

GUI and Console Versions
The program interface is DPI-aware and looks equally good on FullHD and 4K displays. If you prefer to work with the console, the command line version is located in the program installation folder. It calculates BPM for a single file and can be called from other programs or BAT files.
