Featuring countless gameplay options and an incredible variety of in-game events, HUMANKIND most closely resembles the titan of this genre Civilization.

HUMANKIND features almost 60 historical cultures taken from the pages of history, and players can lead, develop, expand, and discover an incredible variety of effects that can reshape cultures when moving from ancient times to the modern age. Since it covers the time between simple neolithic tribes so many thousands of years ago all the way to the modern space age, players are empowered to make countless important choices. They can follow the regular flow of our history and mimic famous events, see the development of important technologies and scientific breakthroughs, and engage in tough moral decisions that have reshaped the origins of many of our modern cultures.

In addition to the versatile city builder, the players can also take full control over many types of units on the screen, and engage in combat on both land, air, and sea. The battles are represented as the mini turn-based board game, providing a lot of tactical freedom and access to unique characters and units with many special abilities that are tied to their culture. In the addition to singleplayer, the HUMANKIND game also has a comprehensive multiplayer section that allows players to play together on a single map, and engage in grand gestures of diplomacy, exploration, and all-out warfare.
