NBA 2K22 is the 23rd release in the long-running NBA 2K franchise developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Games for PC and home consoles. This latest version of basketball simulation on the home and laptop PCs brings back many beloved features found in its predecessors, but at the same time enhances many gameplay elements that make action on the basketball court look more realistic, engaging, and fun in both solo and multiplayer matches.



Offered in three individual editions (all with their own prices and available bonuses), this version of the NBA game is promoted with a  cover athlete Luka Dončić, who has rocked the basketball world with its successful season at Dallas Mavericks.

Many gameplay modes present in the NBA 2022 game return from previous releases, with the most notable ones being MyCAREER and MyTEAM which enable players to build their own roster of players across several NBA seasons, providing an endless amount of entertainment both on the court and managing every aspect of the team development. Of course like in previous games, MyCAREER mode features extensive cinematics and wild turning points that will convey to the player many incredible sporting challenges that NBA players have to endure during their play toward the goal of being NBA champions.

In addition to those two modes, the game also features enhanced versions of MyGM and MyLEAGUE modes which feature many more enhancements, balance optimizations, and visual tweaks.

Similar to several other sport games, PC gamers, unfortunately, don’t have access to the most up-to-date and visually stunning version of the game. Developers of this title have decided to push the latest visual enhancements to the nextgen console platforms, providing PC players only access to the traditional HD version of the game.

While this news may be disappointing to some players, this decision is mostly done to enable gamers with weaker PC configurations to enjoy this title. As this is not the only sports game that has adopted this approach, gamers from around the world have accepted this limitation. Sadly this is not the end of bad news. NBA 2K22 also does not support any form of cross-progression and cross-play with console players, which leaves only PC players to play between themselves, without the ability to invite their console friends into online matches.

NBA 2K22 is a stunning basketball simulation game that will surely satisfy all fans of this sport. The game runs great on all modern gaming PCs and can provide countless hours of entertainment both in solo and online matches.
