Warframe is an amazing free third-person shooter (TPS) 3D shooter desktop multiplayer game for your Windows PC! They were called Tenno. Warriors of blade and gun: masters of the Warframe armor. Those that survived the old war were left drifting among the ruins. Now they are needed once more.

The Grineer, with their vast armies, are spreading throughout the solar system. A call echoes across the stars summoning the Tenno to an ancient place. They summon you.

Allow the Lotus to guide you. She has rescued you from your cryostasis chamber and given you a chance to survive. The Grineer will find you; you must be prepared. The Lotus will teach you the ways of the Warframes and the secrets to unlocking their powers.



When you first launch Warframe for Desktop, it will check for updates using the launcher. In this launcher, you can specify the language you would like Warframe to run in by opening the language drop-down list in the top-right corner. Selecting the correct option will make all text in the game localized to your native language!

After the introductory cinematic, you’ll be given a choice of three Warframes. Your game functions as a kind of exo-armor suit that protects you from enemies and provides you with unique powers. The game you choose will greatly impact your first missions, so choose wisely! Not to worry, this selection is not final. In time you will be able to construct or purchase additional Warframes to master!

Your first mission will teach you, several basic mechanics of the game, as well as have you choose your initial equipment loadout. Like your Warframe selection, these choices are not permanent; there are over a hundred different weapons for you to find and add to your arsenal!

FACTION: GRINEER
They say there is power in numbers - the Grineer are living proof. Wretched from centuries of cloning that has left their genetics in decay, this horde expands their vile empire through brute force, conquering anyone who tries to stop them.

FACTION: CORPUS
The Corpus embodies the cold vacuum of space - heartless and bent on taking anything left unprotected. Driven by profits, the Corpus Board’s small numbers are supplemented by their legion of robot proxies, optimized for quick and efficient destruction.

FACTION: INFESTED
The Infestation is more than a disease - it is a horror of twisted flesh, monsters made into reality. The blight consumes its victims, transforming them into unrecognizable atrocities controlled by rabid impulse. The Infested is a single-minded scourge that belongs in the realm of nightmares but instead chooses to invade ships and colonies, leaving only death and destruction in its wake.

FACTION: SENTIENT
Whispers from the Old War have begun to escape the deepest shadows. What terrible secret calls out to be discovered?
